Plant or trim flowers in The Linnaeus Garden

Unique opportunity to take part in the management of one of Sweden’s most famous gardens and the former backdrop for the scientific work of Mr Flower Power, Carl Linnaeus! Spend a couple of hours in the morning with the gardeners, planting or trimming plants in the herbaceous borders of The Linnaeus Garden in central Uppsala.

We start up with a morning fika, tell the story of the Garden and the legacy of Linnaeus and end up with our hands in the soil and greenery. The gardeners will supervise the work, sharing their best advice and give you heaps of knowledge about cultivation in historic gardens.
