On heritage railway and with veteran bus to Linnaeus' Hammarby

Occasionaly during summer the Uppsala-Lenna Heritage Railway operates a veteran bus service to Linnaeus’ Hammarby.

Buy your ticket at the ticket desk at the railway station Uppsala Östra on the day of departure.

  • 10:10–11:00 Lennakatten (steam train) Uppsala Östra – Bärby, veteran bus Bärby – Linnaeus’ Hammarby
  • 12:35–13:20 Lennakatten (steam train) Uppsala Östra – Bärby, veteran bus Bärby – Linnaeus’ Hammarby
  • c. 13:30 guided veteran bus tour Linnaeus’ Hammarby – Uppsala Östra, via Sävja, arriving at Uppsala Östra c. 14:35
  • c. 15.45 guided veteran bus tour Linnaeus’ Hammarby – Uppsala Östra, via Sävja, arriving at Uppsala Östra c. 16:45
  • 11:00–13:30 and/or 13:30–15:45 see Linnaeus’ Hammarby.Guided tour of the manor house 11.30, 13.30 and 14.30 in Swedish and 12.30 in English. Entrance fee adults 100 SEK, children free

Tickets: 240 Skr/adult both directions or 140 Skr/adult one-way, children 7–15 years old pay half price.Two children in company with an adult are free of charge. Entrance fee to Linnaeus' Hammarby is not included in the price. The veteran tour Saturdays 9 July – 13 August 2022

A roundtrip from Uppsala to Skoklosters Castle passing Linnaeus' Hammarby. You travel by train, bus, boat or vice verse. Bookning through stromma.se at least 6 days in advance.

Start by train:

  • 10:10–11:25 Lennakatten (steam engine) Uppsala Östra – Marielund, veteran bus Marielund – Linnaeus' Hammarby 
  • 11:25–12:25 Linnaeus' Hammarby 
  • 13:00 arrival at Pilsbo with veteran bus, change to boat
  • 13:15–15:15 Skokloster Castle
  • 17:00 arrival at Islandsbron, Uppsala 

Start by boat:

  • 11:30 Departure from Islandsbron with boat
  • 13:15–15:15 Skokloster Castle
  • 15:20 arrival at Pilsbo, cange to veteran bus
  • 16:05–16:15 Linnaeus' Hammarby
  • 16:15–17:20 veteran bus Linnaeus' Hammarby – Marielund, Lennakatten (steam engine) Marielund – Uppsala Östra

Tickets: 350 Skr/adult.  children 6–15 years old pay half price. Children 0–5 years old and two children accompanying an adult are free of charge. Admission charges to museums and gardens not included.
