The first botanical garden in Sweden, founded in 1655, brought Linnaeus to Uppsala in the 1700s. In the garden he developed and refined a new classification of the plant kingdom—the sexual system. The garden still houses more than 1000 of the species Linnaeus cultivated in the garden. Welcome on guided tour in the footsteps of Linnaeus! Starts at 11:30 and 14:30.

Admission 100 Skr. Free admission for children under age 18, and for employees and students at Uppsala University.
