Uppsala's only rainforest is located in the Tropical Greenhouse, with palm trees, giant water lilies, banana plants and dart frogs.
Come on in and explore under tall trees and along winding paths. Admire the almost two meters wide floating leaves of the Santa Cruz water lily. Listen to the song of the poison dart frogs. Learn more about our fascinating plants.
The O-ringen is a five-day orienteering competition that takes place annually in different areas of Sweden, with international competitors taking part. In 2022 O-ringen makes a return visit to Uppsala.
During Monday-Friday of the O-ringen week the greenhouse is open until 19.00.
Entrance fee 50 Skr. Free admission for children under age 18 and for employees/students at Uppsala University.
